A BOOK TASTING is a chance for students to “sample” different types of books in our Secondary library. Students have the opportunity to “taste” and discuss different books at themed “restaurant” tables with book menus asking students to comment on the literature. It’s a fun event that students look forward to every year. Years 7-11 participated in this event.

The aim of our book tastings is to inspire a love of books and reading and we also want students to know about our Secondary library and materials available for student use. The library is furthermore an integral part of our school and unique activities contribute to a positive classroom environment.

We hope in the future to continue offering exciting events for students and are considering the option of a Jane Austen Day so that students have the option of learning more about this engaging author and her contributions to Literature.
