Greetings from Primary Student Council!

The Primary Student Council of 2022-2023 are class representatives from Year 2 to Year 6. They were elected within each class group and participate in meetings every week. Our young Councillors are incredibly passionate about focussing their roles to highlight the opinions of the primary students in order to contribute to a safe and healthy school environment. Through this Council, they wish to give new and insightful perspectives on the things that are important to them. 

Students have discussed a variety of issues, from healthy eating in the whole school community to participating in charitable activities. These discussions have served to increase the sense of social mobility amongst students, demonstrating maturity beyond their years. The Councillors enjoy getting together to talk about how to make their time at school more meaningful. They see the Council as one BIG family where opinions are valued and respected. They are truly an inspiration to WIST!
