Mehr Animal Sanctuary visits WIST
Yesterday, Primary students received a visit from Mehr Animal Sanctuary. The volunteers showcased the amazing work they do in caring for and rehabilitating animals.
Year 6 students will be working in conjunction with the sanctuary on a writing project, advertising the sanctuary and encouraging further participation from our community in Tashkent. There will be a charity box in our WIST Cafe from Monday onwards for a few weeks to welcome support for this project. We appreciate the struggles all charities go through to ensure they can continue with their good work.
Needless to say, Year 6 is extremely excited to start their new writing project. We are looking forward to reading the literature works of our talented writers in support of this community project. We hope to publish their writing over the next few weeks. Watch this space!
