The Making of Iron Man

Year 6 students have had a very busy few weeks reading and exploring various literary devices through Ted Hughes ‘The Iron Man’. All the students engaged in the text through role play, questioning and exploring atmosphere, character and language. Using cues from the text, they designed, planned and made their own life size (almost) model of Iron Man! Year 6 have worked exceptionally hard on this project and their creative and critical thinking skills have brought literature to life! I am very proud of them.
