WORLD CULTURES CLUB makes Sushi

Sushi is an important feature of Japanese cuisine and has been around for centuries. Our World Cultures Club members learned the art of sushi making with help from Year 8B student Khosiyatkhon Anvarkhujaeva. It was a fun activity and students completed their exploration of Japanese culture by learning more about the history of sushi and how it reflects Japanese cultural traditions.

The WORLD CULTURES CLUB (WCC) aims to help students develop a global mindset and engage with our world community of multiple traditions. Another aim is to interact with members of our diverse local community and to realize our connectedness in today’s globalized world.
