Students of Westminster International School in Tashkent Familiarized Themselves with the Activities of the Senate
On November 27 of this year, Bahrom Abdullayev, Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Science, Education and Healthcare, and Senator Gulnora Marufova met with students of Westminster International School in Tashkent.
The event was organized in connection with the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, celebrated on December 8, with the aim of broadly explaining to young people the importance of the rule of law and statehood traditions.
The students were provided with detailed information about the structure, powers, and areas of activity of the Senate, as well as the role of the parliament in the country’s political life.
During the meeting, the students engaged in direct dialogue with the senators, learned about the workflow in the upper chamber of parliament, the legislative process, and the stages of adopting Senate decisions. They also received comprehensive answers to their questions.

Joriy yilning 27 noyabr kuni Senatning Fan, taʼlim va sog‘liqni saqlash masalalari qo‘mitasi raisi Bahrom Abdullayev va senator Gulnora Marufova Toshkentdagi Vestminster xalqaro maktabi o‘quvchilari bilan uchrashdi.
Tadbir 8 dekabr — O‘zbekiston Respublikasining Konstitutsiyasi qabul qilinganining 33 yilligi munosabati bilan yoshlarga qonun ustuvorligi va davlatchilik anʼanalari ahamiyatini keng tushuntirish maqsadida uyushtirildi.
Yoshlarga Senatning tuzilmasi, vakolatlari, faoliyat yo‘nalishlari hamda parlamentning mamlakat siyosiy hayotidagi o‘rni haqida batafsil maʼlumot berildi.
O‘quvchilar senatorlar bilan bevosita muloqot qilib, parlament yuqori palatasidagi ish jarayonlari, qonun ijodkorligi amaliyoti, Senat qarorlarining qabul qilinishidagi bosqichlar bilan tanishdi hamda o‘zlarini qiziqtirgan savollariga atroflicha javob oldi.
